Chelsea winger hands in transfer request to secure Bayern move
Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi has reportedly handed in a transfer request in an attempt to push through a move to Bayern Munich before the end of the month.
The 18-year-old has just one-and-a-half seasons left on his current contract with the Blues and so far, he has shown no indication of extending his stay beyond that period.
According to Sky Sports News, the Englishman has now handed in a transfer request after holding a private meeting with the club's officials during the week.
The Blues have yet to decide whether they are going to sanction the attacker's sale but they are braced for a fourth bid worth £40m from Bayern for the player's signature this month.
Hudson-Odoi has apparently been promised a regular run with the Blues during the forthcoming seasons but he appear intent on making the switch to Bayern, where he could directly replace the departing Arjen Robben.
Robben has been a great servant for the Bavarian giants over the past decade but he is expected to leave a void on the right side of the attack when his contract expires in the summer.
