Thibaut Courtois urges Chelsea star to join Real Madrid
Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has welcomed the prospect of reuniting with Chelsea attacker and compatriot Eden Hazard at the Bernabeu next term.
The Belgium international has enjoyed another strong season with the Blues with 12 goals and 10 assists in the top-flight but his long-term future remains under question with his existing deal expiring in 16 months' time.
Due to this, he has been regularly linked with a move to Los Blancos and speaking to VTM Nieuws, Courtois has talked up the possibility of his compatriot making the move to the European champions.
"It would be nice of course [if Hazard joined Real], but I cannot say much about it. That is something he has to decide and Madrid must decide if they want him, because I do not know that either," he said.
Hazard has been in a contract standoff with the Blues over the past year and he has recently indicated that a decision has been made regarding his future ahead of the summer.
