Juventus make their transfer decision on Gonzalo Higuain

Juventus don't want Higuain back

Serie A holders Juventus have no plans of keeping hold of Gonzalo Higuain even if Chelsea decline the option to sign him on a permanent basis in the summer.

The Argentina international joined the Blues on a short-term loan from Juventus last month but the club managed to include the option to extend his temporary deal for a further year or sign him on a permanent basis.

According to Calciomercato, the west London outfit can pursue Higuain's signature this summer irrespective of the transfer ban, provided they can trigger the clause before the end of June.

However, the Capital outfit are said to want a cut on the £31m valuation for the marksman and Juventus' reluctance to do so may scupper a possible agreement.

In this case, the Blues have the option to stick with another temporary deal for the Argentine or else Juventus are likely to recall him with a view to a permanent sale to a different club.
