Italian giants want Romelu Lukaku in swap deal?

Inter plan Icardi-Lukaku swap

Inter Milan are reportedly planning to propose an exchange deal for Romelu Lukaku which may witness Mauro Icardi head in the opposite direction.

The Nerazzurri hierarchy are currently considering the probable sale of Icardi, who has been excluded from first-team duties following the refusal to sign a new contract.

According to The Mirror, the San Siro giants are aware of the Red Devils' interest in Icardi and they are prepared take advantage of the situation during the summer transfer window.

Still, the Nerazzurri are unlikely to settle for a straight-cash move for the Argentine and they are prepared to propose a swap agreement involving Lukaku heading in the opposite direction.

Lukaku has recently found form with four goals in the past two league games but there are still concerns regarding his position, once the team is at full strength.

Interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has regularly preferred Marcus Rashford to lead the line and this may hamper Lukaku in the long run, should the Norwegian be named the perfect manager at the club.
