Emery taking game-by-game in top four push

Arsenal manager Unai Emery has indicated that the Gunners don't face an easy ride in the top-four pursuit despite their 2-0 win over Manchester United on Sunday.

The north London giants managed to continue their good run of league form with a triumph over the Red Devils where Granit Xhaka and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang were on the scoresheet.

Following the game, Emery was asked about the club's top-four prospects to which he said that the team don't have any easy games between now and the end of the season.

He told Football.London: "It’s going to be difficult, we think game by game. We are going to play the next match against Newcastle here in three weeks, that’s a lot. Our focus now is Thursday night (against Rennes)."

With the win, Arsenal have jumped to fourth in the standings ahead of Manchester United and they are now holding a two-point advantage over Ole's team on the table.

The Gunners' immediate focus will shift to the Europa League where they need to overcome Rennes in the second leg of the round of 16.

Emery's side are currently trailing by a 3-1 score after the away leg at Rennes, but they can win with two clear goals without conceding.
