Manchester United face risk of losing David de Gea
Manchester United face a fresh fight to keep hold of David de Gea with Real Madrid considering a renewed approach to sign him during the summer.
The reigning European champions appeared to end their interest in De Gea after pursuing Thibaut Courtois from Chelsea last summer, but the Belgian's showing has been far from impressive this term.
According to The Mirror, the return to Zinedine Zidane to the Bernabeu has presented doubts over the future of Courtois and the Belgian could possibly be offloaded when the season concludes.
It is added that De Gea could once more be pursued by the Spanish giants and they have the advantage of capitalising on the player's contract standout at United.
De Gea has just 15 months remaining on his existing deal with the Red Devils and it is suggested that Los Blancos could be prepared to pay as much as £75m to push through a summer deal.
The Spaniard has been in negotiations with United over the past 15 months but so far, the hierarchy have shown no interest in matching his £350,000-a-week wage demands.
