Serie A giants prepared to make Alexis Sanchez bid?
Serie A holders Juventus have reportedly emerged as surprise candidates to pursue Manchester United outcast Alexis Sanchez at the end of the season.
The Chile international joined the Red Devils from Arsenal in the winter of 2018 but he has since struggled with just three goals in the Premier League and Champions League together.
As such, there has been plenty of speculation linking him with a move elsewhere and Calciomercato claims that Juventus could make an approach to sign the former Gunners ace.
In recent weeks, the player's £500,000-a-week have been mentioned as a potential stumbling block but the Bianconeri are prepared to sign him on loan, provided United fund part of the salary package.
Sanchez is currently sidelined with a knee injury which could keep him out until the final weeks of the season. The attacker picked up the damage during the 3-2 league triumph over Southampton earlier this month.
He has more than four years remaining on his existing deal at United.
