Liverpool to sell Keita?

Liverpool are reportedly weighing up the surprise sale of midfielder Naby Keita after just one season with the club.

The Guinea international joined the Reds from RB Leipzig in a £48m deal last summer amid much fanfare and he has since managed 26 appearances in all competitions.

According to Teamtalk, the 24-year-old has not entirely won over manager Jurgen Klopp following his switch from the Bundesliga and the club could sanction his surprise sale in the summer.

It is added that the Merseyside outfit could be prepared to take a £10m cut on the previously purchased sum in order to get him off their books and pursue a replacement ahead of next season.

Leipzig are unlikely to make an approach to re-sign their former player but both Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund could be prepared to lure him back to the German top-flight.

The representatives from the Bundesliga sides are already understood to have made contact with the representative of Keita with respect to a possible move in the summer.
