Arsenal looking to sign Newcastle United goalkeeper?
Newcastle United goalkeeper Freddie Woodman has reportedly emerged as an option to take up the role of the backup shot-stopper at Arsenal next term.
The north London side are set to bid goodbye to Petr Cech when he retires at the end of the season and this is likely to see them enter the market for a replacement.
According to Chronicle Live, the Gunners are on the search for a new deputy to Bernd Leno and Woodman has been earmarked as a probable choice for the same.
The 22-year-old has barely featured for the Magpies this term with just three Cup appearances and this could tempt him to pursue a fresh challenge elsewhere during the summer.
Aside from Arsenal, the likes of Everton, Fulham and Celtic have been linked with the goalkeeper, who was previously part of the England under-20 World Cup winning side.
Woodman has 15 months remaining on his existing deal at Newcastle United.
