Eden Hazard to hand in transfer request?

Belgium international Eden Hazard is reportedly planning to hand in a transfer request at Chelsea in order to secure his dream move to Real Madrid this summer.

The 28-year-old has just over 12 months remaining on his current deal with the Blues and reports have regularly stated that Los Blancos are keen on pursuing his services.

According to AS, the Blues are yet to give up on the hope of keeping Hazard for the forthcoming campaign and this may result in the Belgian handing in a transfer request.

The west London side are alleged to have already turned down a £65m bid from Los Blancos for the playmaker and reports indicate that they are holding out for something in the region of £100m.

Still, Los Blancos remain optimistic of lowering the eventual price tag, considering the Blues may not want to keep the attacker, should he continue with his contract standoff.

Hazard is currently experiencing his best-ever Premier League season with the west London side. He has contributed 16 goals and 15 assists from 36 appearances this term.
