Manchester United ready fresh move for Leicester City star

Manchester United are reportedly prepared to revive their pursuit of Leicester City defender Harry Maguire ahead of this summer's transfer window.

The England international was heavily tipped to join the club following the 2018 World Cup but the defender instead decided to commit his future to the Foxes by penning a long-term contract.

Despite this, there have been questions regarding his future at the east Midlands side and according to ESPN, the Red Devils are keen on making a fresh move to acquire his services.

Maguire, who was previously valued at around £75m, has also been linked with a move to Premier League holders Manchester City, although they are unlikely to spend over the odds for the player.

The central defender has remained relatively quiet regarding his future since signing a new deal with the Foxes last summer but the prospect of linking up with United could remain a tempting option.

The Red Devils won't be able to afford him with Champions League football for next term but there remains the lure of playing for one of Europe's most successful clubs.
