Chelsea star on the verge of Real Madrid transfer?

Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard is reportedly close to sealing his transfer to Real Madrid with his representative said to be discussing personal terms with the outgoing European champions.

The Belgium international has declined to sign a new contract with the Blues over the past year and it now appears that he could be heading through the exit door with his deal due to expire in 13 months' time.

According to The Independent, the attacker's proposed move to the Bernabeu seems to be at an advanced stage with his agent in contact with Los Blancos over personal terms.

The Blues have already declined a couple of bids from Los Blancos but the Madrid giants remain optimistic of negotiating a sum below the £100m asking price for the Belgian.

Hazard is currently enjoying his best-ever season in the Blues' shirt and he has bagged 16 goals and 15 assists in the Premier League alone. He could end his Blues career on a high by winning the Europa League at the end of the month.
