Antonio Conte wants Manchester United star at Inter Milan?

Antonio Conte is reportedly keen on securing the services of Manchester United forward Romelu Lukaku, should he take over the managerial reigns at Inter Milan this summer.

The Italian has been out of work for the past year but reports indicate that he is on the cusp of joining the Nerazzurri after agreeing terms with their hierarchy.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Conte is expected to be backed in the transfer market this summer and Lukaku has been earmarked as one of the prime targets to bolster the attacker.

The former Juventus boss had been keen on pursuing Lukaku during the summer of 2017, but the Belgium international rather opted to join the Red Devils from Everton.

Lukaku has since experienced a mixed bag of performances with the Mancunian giants and he has been fancied to pursue a fresh challenge elsewhere ahead of next season.

The marksman netted an impressive tally of 27 goals during his debut season at United, but his second campaign has been a disappointment with just 15 goals while he has been guilty of missing several clear-cut chances.
