Chelsea reject fresh bid from Real Madrid for star playmaker
Chelsea have reportedly turned down a fresh bid from Real Madrid for the services of Belgian playmaker Eden Hazard.
A recent report from Mundo Deportivo claimed that the European champions had agreed a £115m package for Hazard and they would reward him with a £400,000 a week contract upon his arrival at the Bernabeu.
However, according to Spanish publication AS, that does not seem the case and the Blues are said to have rejected an opening bid from Los Blancos for their Player of the Year.
Hazard contributed two goals and an assist during the 4-1 triumph over Arsenal in the Europa League final and shortly after, he confirmed that he may have played his final game for the club.
Still, it appears that the Blues are not willing to accept a reduced fee for the Belgian and they are waiting for Los Blancos to meet their valuation for the former Lille graduate.
Hazard bagged 21 goals for the Blues during the recent campaign.
