Chelsea defender linked with a shock move to Inter Milan
Inter Milan head coach Antonio Conte has been linked with a surprise swoop for Gary Cahill, who is expected to depart Chelsea at the end of the month.
The former England international will officially leave the Blues when his contract expires in two weeks' time and this has seen him linked with numerous clubs across Europe.
According to Sport Mediaset, Cahill is keen on playing at the highest level following his Blues exit and former boss Conte could offer him with the chance at the Nerazzurri.
The same outlet claims that Conte is said to prefer Cahill in his defence ahead of Miranda although the San Siro side are yet to make a formal approach for the 33-year-old.
Cahill is set to conclude his seven-year association with the Blues this month and he could yet remain in the Premier League with newly-promoted Aston Villa keen on landing his signature.
