United to hold talks with Bruno Fernandes' agent

The representative of Sporting midfielder Bruno Fernandes is reportedly preparing to hold discussions with Manchester United.

The Portuguese midfielder has experienced a fantastic season with Sporting where he contributed 32 goals and 18 assists, and this has tipped him to secure a big-club move this summer.

Tottenham Hotspur are said to have already met with Fernandes' agent Miguel Pinho but according to Correio da Manha, the Red Devils are also scheduled to hold discussions with the midfielder's representative.

Sporting are currently reluctant to part ways with their talismanic midfielder but reports claim that a fee in the region of £64m could be sufficient to lure him away from the Lisbon-based side.

Aside from the Premier League duo, Fernandes has also been linked with a move to the Spanish La Liga with Atletico Madrid, but they are seemingly focused on pursuing compatriot Joao Felix from Benfica.

Fernandes has four years remaining on his contract with Sporting.
