Yannick Ferreira Carrascos agent drops fresh update on Arsenal transfer link

Carrasco's agent rules out Arsenal move

The representative of Yannick Ferreira Carrasco has indicated that Arsenal don't have much of a chance of signing the Belgian, given Dalian Yifang have ruled out the attacker's sale.

The north London giants have been heavily linked with the services of the former Atletico Madrid man and reports have even suggested that they have agreed provisional personal terms with the winger.

However, it appears that the Gunners are nowhere near reaching an agreement for the Belgian, given Dalian don't have any plans of parting ways with the 25-year-old.

Christophe Henrotay told Belgian publication Het Laatste Nieuws: "Carrasco has been saying for a long time that he wants to return to Europe for personal reasons"

"There are clubs that would like to sign him. One club submitted a formal offer. Other clubs, such as Arsenal, also wanted to do that, but Dalian said he was not for sale."

Carrasco was recently suspended for an indefinite period by Dalian, who suggested that they were not impressed with his attitude in training amid the transfer gossip.

Since moving to China, Carrasco has been a good hit and in the current season alone, he has amassed seven goals and two assists from just 10 appearances.
