Griezmann on cusp of Barcelona move

Reports from Spain suggest that Antoine Griezmann has put pen to paper on a five year deal with Barcelona, finally completing his move from Atletico Madrid. The World Cup winning forward, who is considered one of Europe's finest players, will reportedly earn 340,000 euros per week under the terms of his new agreement.

Griezmann had long been linked with a transfer to Barcelona and the Catalan club will be delighted to have secured his signature from La Liga rivals Atletico.

The 28-year-old will complete a 120 million euro move on July 1st, with the price of his transfer dropping from a reported 200 million on that date, thus the delay from the Nou Camp giants to secure Griezmann's coveted signature.

Barca are also still in the race to sign their former player Neymar from Paris St Germain, and at this point it is not yet known who will line up in the La Liga winning side's first X1 next season with their new wealth of strikers.

Griezmann rejected a move to Paris St Germain to complete a move to Barca.
