26-year-old attacker urges club to agree transfer fee with Arsenal
26-year-old attacker urges club to agree transfer fee with Arsenal
Ivory Coast international Wilfried Zaha has urged Crystal Palace to agree a transfer fee for his potential sale to Arsenal this summer.
The 26-year-old has been a consistent performer for the Eagles in the past few years and he contributed 10 goals and seven assists during the recent league campaign.
According to The Mail, the attacker remains keen on making the move to the Gunners this summer and he has requested the Eagles' board to negotiate a transfer sum with the north London side.
The Eagles have recently sanctioned the sale of Aaron Wan-Bissaka to Manchester United for a fee of around £50m and they are said to be reluctant to lose another top player in the same transfer window.
Even if they change their stance, the Gunners may have to come up with a package of at least £50m and that remains a difficult ask to fulfil at the present point of time.
Gunners boss Unai Emery has been provided with a transfer budget of just £45m for the summer but he is understood to have requested additional funds to push through a big-money move for Zaha.
