Chelsea defensive duo want to leave the club this summer
Chelsea full-backs Marcos Alonso and Davide Zappacosta are said to be eyeing potential exits from the club during this summer's transfer window.
The Blues are presently without a manager at the helm but they are widely expected to announce Frank Lampard as their head coach in the coming days.
According to The Telegraph, both Alonso and Zappacosta have expressed their desire to leave the Blues during the transfer window despite the club being under a year-long transfer ban.
Alonso was largely inconsistent with his performances during the previous campaign and he found himself playing second fiddle to Emerson at left-back during the final stages of the season.
On the contrary, Zappacosta has barely featured for the west London giants and he has managed just the solitary league start in the past 12 months under ex-boss Maurizio Sarri.
At present, the Blues are not expected to make a decision until the appointment of Lampard but reports indicate that the club may only sanction the sale of one of the want-away duo.
