Philippe Coutinho set for PSG in Neymar swap deal?
Barcelona and Paris St Germain have been locked in negotiations regarding a transfer move that would see Neymar move back to his former club. According to a report Sunday morning, PSG would like to bring Philippe Coutinho to France as part of a mega money swap deal that is being negotiated by the two clubs.
Neymar has indicated he would like to return to Spain and midfielder Philippe Coutinho has failed to set the Camp Nou alight since making a 124 million euro transfer move from Liverpool two seasons ago.
It is understood that Paris St Germain will sell Neymar for a fee of 75 million euros plus Coutinho, as well as a first option on defender Samuel Umtiti as part of the deal.
Neymar has desperately tried to push through a transfer back to Catalunya and is even prepared to take a 20 million euro pay-cut to push through his return to La Liga.
Coutinho on the other hand could be allowed to depart Spain, as the Brazilian star will likely improve his current salary in Paris.
