Arsenal planning summer swoop for 26-year-old attacker

Wilfried Zaha news

Arsenal want Zaha this summer

Arsenal are prepared to make a formal approach to land the signature of Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace after knowing of the attacker's ambition to join the club.

The Ivorian has been a consistent performer out wide in the past few seasons and he was able to enjoy best-scoring Premier League campaign last term where he contributed 10 goals.

According to Sky Sports News, the north London giants are prepared to step up their pursuit of the former Manchester United man, who is dreaming about the prospect of joining his boyhood club.

The Eagles are currently said to value the attacker at around £80m but reports suggest that the Gunners are confident of lowering the value with the attacker keen on making the switch.

Arsenal are understood to be working on a limited transfer kitty for the summer and a deal for Zaha may witness the departure of a few first-team players to stay within the budget.

Mohamed Elneny, Calum Chambers, Nacho Monreal and Laurent Koscielny have recently emerged as the candidates, who could be shown the exit door from the Emirates Stadium.
