Real Madrid are reportedly prepared to offer Isco as a makeweight in a player-plus-cash move for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.

Los Blancos president Florentino Perez has identified Isco as one of the candidates, who could head through the exit door as part of the squad rebuild for the summer.

According to AS, the 13-time European champions have made contact with the representatives at Old Trafford regarding a potential player-plus-cash deal for midfielder Pogba.

The report adds that Isco is likely to be offered as part of the move with Los Blancos seeking to significantly reduce the £150m price tag which United have placed on the head of Pogba.

Isco was previously on the radar of Manchester United during their time under Sir Alex Ferguson but a deal never materialised with concerns regarding his physical appearance.

The Spaniard has since won everything within reach after making the move to Los Blancos from Malaga in 2013, but he appears to have been deemed surplus to requirement by the board.
