Manchester United star confident of joining Serie A giants
Romelu Lukaku is reportedly confident of making the switch to Inter Milan before Manchester United's friendly game against the same opposition.
The Nerazzurri have been in talks with the Red Devils regarding a deal for Lukaku but so far, they have been reluctant to match the £75m valuation.
Despite this, The Mirror claims that the Belgian is confident of sealing the proposed transfer before the Nerazzurri tackle the Red Devils in the International Champions Cup on July 20.
Antonio Conte's side are currently £20m adrift of the Red Devils' asking price for Lukaku but reports have claimed that they could offload some of the unwanted players to push through the deal.
Serie A rivals Juventus have recently been touted to join the race for the former Chelsea man and that could speed up negotiations on the Nerazzurri end to avoid a potential bidding battle.
Lukaku has been with the Red Devils for the past two seasons where he has amassed 42 goals from 96 appearances. He has three years remaining on his contract.
