Seri makes England exit

Fulham midfielder Jean Michel Seri has moved to Turkish giants Galatasaray on a season long loan deal, with the option to make a permanent transfer at the end of that duration. The French player, who arrived at Craven Cottage with a big reputation having helped Ligue 1 side Nice up the league table, has left Fulham after a disappointing first campaign in England that saw the Cottagers relegated to the Championship.

It is understood that Galatasaray have paid 1.5 million euros to sign the player on loan and have an agreement in place to permanently sign Seri for a further 18 million euros at the end of the 2019/20 campaign.

The former Pacos de Ferreira player, who represents the Ivory Coast, came to England with a lofty reputation but failed to impress in his first season in England, scoring 1 goal in a total of 32 games for the Cottagers.

Galatasaray have beaten numerous teams to Seri's signature, including former club Nice, French giants Marseille, Spanish duo Real Betis and Celta Vigo as well as German club Wolfsburg.
