United ready to meet Dybala's transfer demands

Manchester United are reportedly open to meeting the wage demands of Paulo Dybala as they seek to pursue him from Juventus on a straight-cash deal involving Romelu Lukaku.

Lukaku has already accepted terms over a contract with the Bianconeri but the same has not been the case with Dybala, who is still evaluating his future.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the Red Devils remain hopeful of striking an agreement for the Argentine and they are willing to grant Dybala's demand for a £10m annual salary.

The same report claims that there are still discrepancies towards the swap deal with Dybala reluctant to accept a 25 percent pay-cut, should the Red Devils fail to qualify for the Champions League.

Dybala is currently on a two-day break from the Bianconeri but he is expected to make a final decision over the proposal before the Premier League transfer deadline on Thursday.

Meanwhile, reports elsewhere claim that United may consider signing Mario Mandzukic as part of Lukaku's transfer to the Bianconeri, should Dybala reject their advances.

In this case, the Serie A holders will have to pay a significant transfer fee for Lukaku, considering Mandzukic is only valued at around £15m. United start their league campaign with a home game against Chelsea next weekend.
