Manchester United are reportedly weighing up a late move to sign David Neres from Ajax with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer aiming to strengthen the attack further.

The Red Devils have been linked with the likes of Harry Maguire, Bruno Fernandes and Paulo Dybala in the past few weeks but they have only reached an agreement to sign the former from Leicester City.

According to Sport, the Red Devils are still looking for reinforcements in the attack front and they could be prepared to pay around £46m to land the signature of Neres, who was part of Brazil's Copa America-winning side.

However, the package may not be sufficient to lure the Brazil international, considering Ajax want at least £70m for their player after witnessing the departures of several key members of the squad this summer.

Ajax have already sanctioned the sales of Matthijs de Ligt, Frenkie de Jong and Lasse Schone this summer and they are expected to announce the departure of Donny van de Beek, who is set to join Real Madrid.
