Leroy Sane heading for Bayern Munich as player agrees terms
Manchester City midfielder Leroy Sane looks set to leave the Premier League champions as the German international is reported to have agreed a deal with Bayern Munich. Sane, who found first-team opportunities less forthcoming last campaign, will reportedly move to the Bundesliga side in a 95 million euro transfer package.
It is understood that Sane has been locked in talks with the Bavarian giants for over a month and a deal has finally been agreed with the player, according to Sky in Germany.
The player will earn £16,500,000 per year at the Bundesliga side, who have decided Sane will be a suitable replacement for the departure of Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery.
Pep Guardiola had wanted to keep hold of the German youngster but it is understood Sane now wants to return to his home country and play for Niko Kovac's side.
The 23-year-old had been in talks with Man City regarding a new deal at the club, but it appears the interest of Bayern Munich has laboured progress on the contract discussions and now Sane will be departing the Etihad for pastures new.
