Kieran Tierney's move to Arsenal in doubt?

Celtic defender Kieran Tierney may reportedly miss out on a move to Arsenal this month, considering his injury could keep him out of action for a much lengthier period.

The north London giants have been fancied to land the Scotland international this summer and reports have recently indicated that they may come up with a renewed third offer for the left-back.

However, according to The Sun, the Gunners may re-consider their decision of pursuing Tierney before the transfer deadline, given he requires another eight weeks at the least to recover following a double hernia operation.

In this case, the north London giants may wait until the New Year before lodging a renewed bid and that could provide them with the additional funds required to sign a new centre-back.

Laurent Koscielny is currently pushing for a departure from the Gunners this summer but the Frenchman's exit could be blocked unless the club are able to land another central defender before Thursday's transfer deadline.
