Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku has been fancied to make the switch to Inter Milan during this summer's transfer window.

The Nerazzurri have already failed with bids of £54m and £68m respectively for the Belgian but they continue to hold negotiations with the Red Devils.

According to Tuttosport, the striker seems intent on pushing through an exit from Old Trafford and he is currently training with former club Anderlecht with the permission from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side.

United are said to want a fee of around £80m for the former Everton man, but the Nerazzurri are still confident that they can prise away the marksman for a sum lesser than the asking price mentioned.

Lukaku did not participate for the Red Devils during the course of pre-season and it was recently claimed that he could be heading to Juventus in a swap deal involving Paulo Dybala.

That move has, however, broken down with the failure to agree terms with Dybala and reports indicate that the Nerazzurri are now clear favourites to land Lukaku's signature.
