Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has acknowledged that Alexis Sanchez could head through the exit door during the forthcoming weeks.

The Chilean is currently training separately from his teammates after his return from a hamstring problem, but it appears that his stay could be limited.

Inter Milan have already opened talks regarding a loan deal for the Chilean and when asked about the same, Solskjaer admitted that there is interest in the former Arsenal man.

“Well, there’s still a couple of weeks left of the transfer window and there is a chance. Some clubs have shown interest in Alexis, so we’ll see what happens," he told Sky Sports.

Sanchez is said to be determined to make the return to the Serie A with the Nerazzurri and the same needs to happen by Friday when the Italian transfer window concludes.

So far, neither the United board or Solskjaer have given the go-ahead for the move but it may happen soon with the Chilean unlikely to be assured with a starting role at United irrespective of his comeback.

Sanchez has failed to live up to the high expectations since his move to Old Trafford in January 2018 and he has bagged just five goals from 45 appearances in all competitions.
