Tottenham Hotspur to sell Christian Eriksen for just £30m?
Tottenham Hotspur could reportedly part ways with Christian Eriksen for as little as £30m with the European transfer window closing in a week's time.
The Dane has expressed his interest in pursuing a fresh challenge away from the north London side and he has already turned down a new contract beyond the summer of 2020.
Spurs were initially hoping to demand as much as £130m for the attacker but the valuation has recently reduced to just £50m as they seek to offload the Dane before the European transfer deadline.
According to The Star, the club may now be forced to accept as little as £30m for the former Ajax graduate with no clubs willing to match the present valuation for the player.
Eriksen is said to hold the ambition of playing in the Spanish La Liga and he has been deemed to be attracting interest from both Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.
The 27-year-old came off the bench during the recent league clash against Newcastle United where Spurs suffered a shock 1-0 defeat at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium. Joelinton scored the winning goal for the Magpies.
