Chelsea forward set to sign new long-term contract?
Chelsea are reportedly prepared to reward striker Tammy Abraham with a new long-term contract following his integration into the first-team squad under Frank Lampard this season.
The striker has spent the past three campaigns on loan with Bristol City, Swansea City and Aston Villa respectively but he has been offered the chance with the Blues first-team this term.
At the weekend, Abraham netted his first two Premier League goals for the Blues in a 3-2 triumph at Norwich City and it now appears that the club are looking at the opportunity to extend his contract.
According to The Telegraph, the west London giants are ready to show more trust towards the young forward and they are offering him with a lucrative five-year contract.
The same publication claims that Abraham's salary will rise by more than 100 percent with the contract extension and he could earn around £100,000 on a weekly basis.
Chelsea are lying in the bottom half of the table in the 13th spot despite the victory over the Canaries. They are scheduled to host Sheffield United in their stadium this weekend.
