Ole Gunnar Solskjaer praises young midfielder after Leicester City win
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has heaped praise on midfielder Scott McTominay, who produced a standout performance against Leicester City on Saturday.
The Scotland international has produced a mixed bag of performances this season but he came up with a strong display against the Foxes, where he was regularly intercepting the play from the opposition.
As a result, McTominay was handed with the man of the match accolade and speaking after the game, Solskjaer spoke about the midfielder's leadership qualities, he told: "If teams are trying to intimidate us, he [McTominay] is there. He is a leader."
United did not provide a regular threat on goal against the Foxes and the only goal of the game came through a Marcus Rashford penalty in the eighth minute of the encounter.
The Red Devils' win ended a three-match winless streak in the Premier League. They are presently occupying the fourth position on a temporary basis until tomorrow where Arsenal, Everton and West Ham United could surpass them.
