Frank Lampard confirms injury boost ahead of Brighton clash

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has confirmed that Andreas Christensen will make the matchday squad for tomorrow's Premier League clash against Brighton & Hove Albion.
The Dane suffered a knee problem during the 2-1 league defeat at the hands of Liverpool last weekend and he was subsequently rested for the League Cup third round tie against Grimsby Town.
Speaking in a press conference, Lampard said that Christensen has not completely recovered from the knock but he should be in contention for the Seagulls clash.
"Andreas should be okay. He has trained with us today, missed most of the week, but there is still a tiny bit of pain so hopefully won't be a risk. He will be in the squad," he was quoted as saying by the Blues' official website.
Chelsea have experienced a mixed beginning to their league campaign and they have attained just eight points from the opening six games.
They are scheduled to face Brighton on Saturday and will be eyeing their maiden league triumph of the season at Stamford Bridge.
