Manchester United offered green light to sign Serie A striker
Manchester United have reportedly been offered the green light to sign Mario Mandzukic, who has fallen out-of-favour under Juventus boss Maurizio Sarri this term.
The 33-year-old was heavily touted to join the Red Devils before the Premier League transfer deadline but the deal failed to materialise after they were put off by the Bianconeri's £14m price tag.
According to Sky Italia, Mandzukic is expected to head through the Bianconeri exit door at the turn of the year and he could be available for a cheaper price of around £9m.
The same outlet claims Mandzukic still favours a move to the Red Devils, who are on the look out for an experienced striker after the exits of Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez to Inter Milan - the latter on a season-long loan.
The former Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid frontman has also been associated with a move to Tottenham Hotspur, who failed to replace Fernando Llorente during the summer transfer window.
