James Maddison to sign new Leicester City deal
England international James Maddison will reportedly sign a new contract with the Foxes in the coming weeks, amidst interest from Premier League giants Man Utd. The Leicester City creative midfielder has been one of the top flight's bright sparks so far this campaign, with his club now desperate to tie the player to a long-term new contract.
Since Maddison's arrival from Norwich City, the midfielder has made his debut for England and has shone in the Premier League, helping Leicester City to the top half of the league table.
According to the Daily Mail, Man Utd manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to add creativity to his midfield and sees Maddison as the perfect acquisition for the January transfer window, but the price tag of £65 million could scare off the Old Trafford outfit.
It is also understood that Tottenham and Arsenal also hold a long-term interest in Maddison, while French giants Paris St Germain have deployed scouts to monitor Leicester City games in recent times.
Maddison has three years remaining on his current contract.
