Mandzukic to Manchester United?

Manchester United have reportedly been tipped to secure the signature of Mario Mandzukic when the transfer window reopens at the turn of the year.

The Juventus striker was heavily tipped to join the Red Devils during the closing stages of the summer transfer window but they were put off by the Bianconeri's £14m price tag.

Mandzukic has since been regularly linked with a move to Old Trafford and Calciomercato claims that a deal could be a realistic possibility during the January transfer window.

It is added that the Mancunian giants could sign him for an initial £8.6m fee in the New Year but the deal could rise to around £13m based on the various add-ons.

United have just two senior strikers in the form of Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial but the latter has just returned to the playing field after seven weeks with a thigh concern.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side have made an average beginning to the current league campaign and they are presently 14th in the standings with just 10 points on the board.
