Liverpool receive injury boost ahead of Genk clash
Liverpool have received a positive injury boost ahead of their Champions League clash against Genk with Mohamed Salah participating in training with his teammates.
The Egypt international was initially touted to make his comeback from an ankle injury against Manchester United but that was not the case with Jurgen Klopp stating that the attacker was not ready for the contest.
However, ahead of the midweek game against Genk, Salah has been spotted training alongside the first-team squad and it remains to be seen whether he makes the matchday squad tomorrow.
The Merseyside giants have made another mixed start to their Champions League group stage campaign and they have registered just three points from their opening two games.
Genk was regarded as the weakest opposition in the group and the Reds have the opportunity to register successive wins to enhance their prospects of making it to the next stage of the elite competition.
