Frank Lampard speaks after Chelsea's sixth straight Premier League win
Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has hailed the performance from the Blues players during the 2-0 Premier League triumph over Crystal Palace on Saturday.
The west London giants dominated the possession during the course of the opening half but they were unable to find the net with the Eagles defending with effectiveness.
In the second half, however, they were able to open up the Eagles backline more often and goals from Tammy Abraham and Christian Pulisic secured a sixth straight league victory.
Meanwhile, they also picked up their third clean sheet of the Premier League campaign and restricted the Eagles to just one shot on target during the entirety of the game.
Speaking after the game, Lampard hailed the showing from the players and was pleased to come up with the three points alongside a clean sheet which has been a rare case this term.
"In the first half we started well, then allowed our tempo to drop, but when we came out in the second half with the intent that we did, we won the game relatively comfortably - a nice, solid win with a clean sheet," he told Sky Sports.
