Solskjaer says yes to Haaland move

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reportedly given the green light to the club's hierarchy to sign Erling Braut Haaland next summer.

The Red Devils managed had worked with Haaland at former club Molde and it appears that a reunion could be on the cards at the end of the season.

According to The Mirror, United scouts have been impressed with the progress made by the ex-Bryne graduate, who is presently in the ranks of Red Bull Salzburg.

It is added that Solskjaer has a good knowledge of the marksman from his Molde days and he has given the go-ahead for the Red Devils to make a big-money move for the Norway international.

The 19-year-old has scored a staggering 26 goals from just 18 appearances this season and that has included five hat-tricks including one in this season's Champions League against Genk.

He has also attracted interest from Arsenal, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Juventus in recent weeks and United will have a bidding battle on their hands for the Leeds-born forward.
