Jose Mourinho makes Christian Eriksen transfer decision
Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho won't stand in the way of Christian Eriksen, should he pursue a fresh challenge away from the north London giants.
The Dane has just eight months remaining on his existing deal with the club and he has shown no extension of penning a renewal ahead of the winter transfer window.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Mourinho will hold talks with Eriksen in the coming weeks but he won't stand in the way of the midfielder, should he seek a mid-season departure.
Eriksen is free to discuss a pre-contract with an overseas club in the New Year but reports have emerged that he is likely to head through the exit door as he could struggle to claim a starting role at Spurs.
Eriksen was only afforded with a substitute role during Spurs' 3-2 win over West Ham United in Mourinho's first game in charge and it could remain the case in the coming weeks amid his average form and contract standoff.
