Real Madrid star open to Manchester United transfer
Real Madrid star Gareth Bale reportedly considers Manchester United as the premier option, should he consider a fresh challenge at the beginning of the year.
The Welshman has more than two years remaining on his current deal with Los Blancos but he has been tipped for a departure amid his deteriorating relationship with the club's faithful.
According to Marca, Bale could be open to the prospect of returning to the Premier League when the transfer window reopens at the turn of the calendar year.
His former club Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with his services in recent weeks but reports in Spain claim that Bale would rather prefer to join the Red Devils.
Bale is currently valued at around £85m and it is reported that Zinedine Zidane's side are unlikely to lower their demands for the Welshman for the time being.
United have struggled to score goals with regularity this term but it is unclear whether they would be tempted by Bale's availability, given they are currently lacking the creativity in the midfield.
