Arsenal make transfer decision on Brendan Rodgers?
Arsenal are unlikely to make an approach to sign manager Brendan Rodgers from Leicester City as they are said to have restrictions over the budget for the next head coach.
Rodgers has been touted as a probable contender for the managerial vacancy at the Emirates and reports have claimed that the ex-Liverpool boss could be prised away by agreeing on a £14m compensation fee with Leicester City.
However, according to The Mirror, the north London giants don't seem desperate to recruit Rodgers, who has recently stated his commitment towards the Foxes.
It is added that they won't be able to pursue a high-profile manager due to budgetary restrictions and as a result, Freddie Ljungberg and Manchester City assistant Mikel Arteta are the frontline options to succeed Emery, who was sacked earlier last week.
Arsenal are already seven points adrift of the top four positions on the table and they will be hoping to return to winning ways when Brighton make the trip to the Emirates Stadium on Thursday.
