Chelsea want to sign £80m-rated winger next month
Chelsea are reportedly keen on landing the services of Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace when the transfer window reopens at the beginning of January.
Both Arsenal and Everton were linked with the Ivorian footballer last summer but neither of them were able to reach a transfer agreement with the Eagles.
Zaha has since endured a mixed campaign in the Premier League but he has impressed following the recent international break with two goals scored from four games.
According to The Mirror, the Blues are planning a mid-season spending spree and they have the ambition of recruiting a wide player during the forthcoming transfer window.
Jadon Sancho has been earmarked as the prime target for a while but it appears that they won't able to convince Borussia Dortmund over an agreement next month.
As such, they seem to have identified Zaha as the alternative target and they could prise him away from the Eagles by meeting the £80m price tag which remains unchanged from the summer.
