Jose Mourinho won't spend big in the New Year
Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho is unlikely to spend significant amount of money on new players during the winter transfer window.
The north London side have transformed their fortunes under the guidance of Jose Mourinho and they have won four of the five league games with the Portuguese incharge.
This sees them within three points off fourth-placed Chelsea and they have the chance to leapfrog their London rivals when the clubs meet at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium this weekend.
Amidst this, there has been speculation that Spurs could go on a mid-season spending spree but The Mail claims that Mourinho is unlikely to make multiple changes to the squad next month.
It is added that the right-back position could, however, be strengthened at the turn of the year and Norwich City's Max Aarons and West Bromwich Albion's Nathan Ferguson have been earmarked as options.
The latter has just six months remaining on his deal with the Championship leaders and reports claim that the Baggies are likely to sanction his sale with the interest from top Premier League sides.
