Juventus make breakthrough to sign Manchester United star?

Paul Pogba news

Pogba set for January exit from Man United?

Juventus are reportedly deemed to have found the breakthrough in negotiations to re-sign midfielder Paul Pogba from Manchester United next month.

The Serie A champions and Real Madrid were linked with the Frenchman's services over the summer but United made it clear that the 26-year-old was not up for sale.

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has continued to maintain the same stance in recent interviews but TuttoSport reports that the Red Devils may consider the option of parting ways with Pogba next month.

The Bianconeri are prepared to offer around £52m in cash for the Frenchman and they are willing to add Emre Can as a makeweight to enhance their prospects of landing their former star.

Pogba recently shined in a cameo appearance in the 2-0 Premier League defeat to Watford. That was his first game for the Red Devils since picking up an ankle fracture in late September.

Manchester United are scheduled to host Newcastle United in the Premier League on Boxing Day and Pogba could be handed with a starting role in the centre of the park.
