Liverpool make transfer decision on Timo Werner
Liverpool are understood to hold no interest in signing Timo Werner from RB Leipzig during the January transfer window.
The German has notched 25 goals during the ongoing campaign and his form has caught the attention of several elite European sides.
Among those, Chelsea and Liverpool have been heavily linked with the forward but Sky Sports News reports that the latter have no intention to sign him in the current month.
It is added that Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is content with the current options at his disposal and the club are unlikely to make an approach for Werner even after the season comes to a close.
Werner is said to be available for around £60m but Leipzig are reluctant to sell their versatile forward this month unless they are able to retain his services on loan for the rest of the season.
Werner recently scored a brace in the 3-1 league win over Union Berlin over the weekend. They are currently four points ahead of Bayern Munich at the top of the Bundesliga table.
