Barcelona have announced the signing of Portuguese youngster Francisco Trincao from Braga, according to Sky Sports.

The report adds that the Braga winger will join the Catalan club this summer after agreeing to a fee worth €30m.  He has penned a five-year deal, and Barca have subsequently inserted a €500m buyout clause in his contract.

The 20-year-old is considered as one of the talented players from Portugal, having been previously linked with the likes of Juventus and AC Milan.

Trincao has bagged 2 goals and assists in Premiera Liga this season and also has earned 5 caps for the Portuguese U-21 side.

Barca have also ruled out the possibility of signing a new striker in the transfer window as they have decided to stick with the available options.

Valencia’s Rodrigo was the closest ever to come on Barca's transfer agenda but was only to no avail in the end.

Quique Setien led his side to a thumping 5-0 win against Leganes on Copa del Rey knockouts.
