Manchester United remain interested in Fenerbahce striker
Manchester United are reportedly monitoring the progress of Turkish striker Vedat Muriqi with a view to a fresh approach during the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils wanted to land the Kosovo international on an initial loan deal from the Turkish giants last month but their advances were rebuffed by the Istanbul-based side.
Still, they appear to be holding an interest in the marksman and Calciomercato claims that the Red Devils may come up with a fresh bid when the season concludes.
Muriqi has made a good impression for Fenerbahce this term and he has amassed 12 goals and four assists in the Turkish top-flight, where the club are four points off the top of the table.
Fenerbahce currently value the striker at around £30m. Burnley and Aston Villa have also expressed an interest in Muriqi's services but they are unlikely to pay more than £21m this summer.
Manchester United are presently eighth in the league standings with 35 points, six behind the final Champions League spot occupied by Chelsea. They face Frank Lampard's side on the road on Monday night.
